Discover the TEI Opportunity Driven Skills and VET in Africa (TEI OP-VET) Technical Assistance Facility for Private Sector Engagement 

We are pleased to share an opportunity for our members to participate in an online information session on the Technical Assistance Facility (TA), launched by Expertise France, as part of the Team Europe Initiative on Opportunity-Driven Skills and VET in Africa (TEI OP-VET). 

What is TEI OP-VET? 
This EU- and BMZ-funded initiative, implemented by Expertise France, Enabel, EduFi, and GIZ, supports the alignment of vocational education and training (VET) with real employment opportunities created by current investments in Sub-Saharan Africa. It focuses especially on Global Gateway priority sectors: digitalisation, health, transport, climate, and energy. 

As part of this effort, a Demand-Driven Technical Assistance Facility (TA), coordinated by Expertise France, was launched in early 2025. 

To raise awareness of this initiative, Expertise France is organising an information session. During this session, you’ll discover how this initiative can support your company in: 

• Identifying job opportunities and related skills needs 

• Partnering on public-private partnerships for sustainable workforce development 

• Redirecting or enhancing your investment with relevant VET actions  

• Accessing tailored support tools, sector mapping, and co-developing training aligned with employment prospects
