Join us for the presentation and launch of the final report on the Growth Diagnostics and competitiveness study of the Manufacturing Sector in Tanzania. Organized by the Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI), this event will showcase the findings and recommendations of the study conducted by the Growth co-lab at the London School of Economics (LSE).
The study, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade (MIIT) and with support from the ICR Facility and the European Union (EU), aimed to identify the obstacles hindering the development of Tanzania's manufacturing sector. Despite positive economic performance, the sector's contribution to GDP remains below 10% over the past 30 years. This event provides an opportunity to understand the challenges faced by the manufacturing sector and explore strategies for enhancing its competitiveness.
The presentation and launch will be held on June 23 from 9am to 1pm at the Hyatt Regency Kilimanjaro Hotel. To secure your attendance, please RSVP by emailing Isack Msungu, CTI Executive Director, at isack@cti.co.tz before June 14. Don't miss this valuable opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Tanzania's manufacturing sector.
