Maryam Omary is a Compliance and Regulatory Advisor at M&P Exploration production Tanzania Limited.

Maryam is a Certified Public Accountant and a registered tax consultant with extensive knowledge in general tax compliance and regulatory environment across the East African Region obtained from working with Deloitte, a prominent and leading firm in Audit, Tax and Financial Advisory services. 

Within a span of nine years, she has served both local and multinational companies across various sectors such as Oil and Gas, service sector, Banks and Mid-tier Financial services providers, logistics, tourism, insurance, manufacturing and agriculture to mention a few.

Education wise, she holds a bachelor degree in banking and financial services from the University of Dar es Salaam. She also accomplished professional exams from the National Board of Accountants and Auditors where she was approved as a Certified Public Accountant in Tanzania (“CPA (T)”).
